Easy 3D Heart Card
This adorable DIY heart card is perfect for crafting at home as well as in the classroom.
All you need is simple supplies to make this beautiful handmade card. We recommend this heart card craft for elementary kids. Younger kids can make it with help from an adult.

- Glitter foam
- Paper puncher
- Glue
- Scissors
How to Make DIY Heart Card
Step 1: Take an A4 craft paper in the colour of your choice. Fold the edges lengthwise and glue them on top of each other.
Step 2: Next fold the paper into half and paste the sides to make a nice pocket for holding the messages. Make several of them in different colours.
Step 3: To make the card, take craft paper and cut it lengthwise, wide enough to hold the message pockets made in step 2. We cut our paper a little more than 7 cm wide.
Step 4: Using a pencil and scale, draw the lines on the card as shown. Fold along the lines to get a nice crease.
Step 5: Use a paper puncher to punch the message pockets, the lower flap and the back of the heart card.
Step 6: Now, cut a thin strip of paper to weave through the punch hole. Assemble the message pockets inside the card and thread the paper strip through the back of the card, including the message pockets and glue them on top end on the lower flap. This will secure the message pockets inside the card.
Step 7: Glue a small bow cutout to cover the ends of the paper strip and tuck the upper flap of the card under the lower flap.
Step 8: To decorate the card, cut out a rectangle in dark pink and paste it on the face of the card.
Step 9: Next, cut out three glitter foam hearts in three different sizes. Paste them on top of each other to give a 3D look to your DIY heart card
Lastly, write sweet notes and tuck them inside the message pockets.
