How To Make Easy Star Craft for Kids

Time needed: 15 minutes

  1. Cut a square from craft paper.

Take the construction papers and cut out a square sheet from each paper. We used glitter construction paper and cut out a 5 x 5 inch square. You can adjust the size of the square depending on how big or small you want to make the paper star.paper for 3d star craft

  2. Fold horizontally

Fold the square paper horizontally to match the side. Unfold and do the same with the other side.Fold paper for origami star craft

  3. Fold along the diagonal

Next, fold the paper along the diagonal to match the vertex and unfold. Repeat for the second diagonal as well. Now, you have creases dividing the square into 8 triangles.Make creases on paper for star crafts for kids

  4. Make marks on the paper for folding

Using a ruler and a pencil, make marks almost halfway to the center of the square on the non-diagonal creases.Make markings for DIY star craft easy

  5. Cut along creases

Using scissors cut along the non-diagonal creases upto the marks.paper Star craft step by step

  6. Fold the paper to make triangles

Fold the cut end along the diagonal crease to make a triangle. Repeat it for all the points to make eight small triangles.Fold the triangles for star Christmas ornamental craft

  7. Glue the sides of triangles

Slide one triangle underneath the other triangle of the same corner and glue them together. Repeat for all corners to make a 3D four pointer star. Glue a loop on one corner of the star.Glue the sides to make star craft for kindergarten

  8. Repeat the steps to make another 4 pointer star and glue both the paper stars.
