Rocket Father’s Day card
This Father’s Day, make your superstar dad feel on the moon with this fun rocket Father’s Day card craft. A fun handprint Father’s Day card craft for kids of all ages, this one is bursting with stardust and love — no template needed!
Supplies:
- Craft paper
- Glitter paper
- White pen
- Felt-tip pen
- Glue
- Scissors
Step By Step Instructions
1. Take a blue craft paper and cut it into half. Take one half and fold it at the center.
2. Using a pencil, draw a curve at the top and cut it out using scissors. This will make the body of the rocket.
3. Next, take red craft paper and cut out a small section to make the nose of the rocket card. Glue it on the rocket card base.
4. Cut a small circle for the window from white construction paper and glue it below the nose of the rocket.
5. Using a fine-tip black pen, make small lines on the window.
6. Cut out two small fins for the rocket and paste them on either side.
7. Use orange and yellow craft paper to cut out handprints for the exhaust flame of the rocket.
8. Glue the handprints at the base of the rocket to make the fumes.
9. Now take a black craft paper and glue the rocket card at the bottom corner such that the fumes do not cover the black paper.
10. Cut out a small crescent moon from silver glitter paper and paste it on the top left corner of the black paper.
11. Make small yellow stars using a star hole punch or use small star stickers to make stars on the card base.
12. Now using a white pen, write “Dad, I love you to the moon and back” around the rocket card.
13. Lastly, write your Father’s Day message on a piece of paper and glue it inside the rocket card to complete your Father’s Day craft.
