Supplies
- Construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Sharpie
Step by Step Instructions
Take a construction paper in the colour of your choice to make the body of the pencil and cut out a rectangle.
Using a ruler & pencil, make the rectangular tip of the pencil on one side of the pencil’s body. Make small curves at the opposite end and cut them out to get a nice pencil shape.
Take construction paper in a light yellow colour to make the shaven part of the pencil tip. Cut out a small triangle with a wavy base and paste it on the pencil’s body.
Next, to make the eraser and band of the pencil, cut out a small section from pink craft paper for eraser and a band from grey craft paper.
Glue the eraser and band on the pencil’s body.
Using a sharpie, make the graphite tip of the pencil. Next, draw a curved line on the band and make straight lines using a ruler on the body of the pencil.
Write the name on the body of the pencil name craft.
Lastly, draw a cute face on the eraser to add charm to your name pencil craft.
