DIY Pot Of Gold Craft

This rainbow pot of gold craft idea is not only fun and easy but also colourful! This Rainbow Pot of gold activity is sure to get your kids excited and is certain to grab your little leprechaun’s attention.

It is a great way to let children explore their creativity and work on their fine motor skills with simple, easy to find supplies. It’s free printable template makes it an easy Rainbow Pot of gold craft for toddlers as well as older kids.

Supplies For Rainbow Pot Of Gold

· Construction paper – black, green & white

· Gold glitter foam sheet

· Pencil

· Craft glue

· White pom-poms – 3 small and 3 big

· Yarn in rainbow colours

· Scissors

· Template (grab free printable at the end of the page)

Instructions To Make Pot of Gold Craft:

Step 1: Print the template and trace the pot & crescent on black construction paper; shamrock on green craft paper (three times); rainbow on white craft paper and gold coins on glitter foam sheet. Cut the pieces out.

Step 2: Take the shamrock cut-outs and fold them into half, symmetrically.

Step 3: Glue the three folded shamrock cut-outs side by side to make a 3d shamrock for your pot of gold.

Step 4: Paste the crescent shape cutout, face-down, on the pot of gold.

Step 5: Glue the gold coins on the pot as shown.

Step 6: To make the rainbow, apply glue along the outer side of the rainbow base and paste the red yarn along the glued edge.

Step 7: Paste the yarns, one by one, in the sequence of VIBGYOR on the base of the rainbow. Trim the excess yarn to complete the rainbow craft.

Step 8: To make the clouds, paste white pom-poms on either end of the rainbow as shown.

Step 9: Cut out 2 small pieces of white craft paper to attach on both ends of the rainbow.

Step 10: Glue one end of the paper cutouts with the rainbow base and paste pot of gold and shamrock on the free ends.
