Easy Bottle Cap Bat Craft For Kids
This Halloween, transform old bottle caps into spook-tacular bats with this simple craft! A great addition to Halloween crafts for classroom as well as home, this adorable bat craft is perfect for kids across all age groups. Though little ones might need a little help just with eyes and mount owing to the small size of the craft.
Supplies:
- Bottle caps
- Craft paper
- Pencil
- Sharpie
- White pen
- Glue
- Scissors
Step by Step Instructions:
Time needed: 15 minutes
- Take a bottle cap and trace it on black and pink craft paper using a pencil. Cut them out.
- Next, cut two small triangles from black construction paper to make the ears of the bat craft.
- For eyes, cut two small circles from white paper and cut them just below the center.
- Glue the black circle on the pink circle as shown to make the body of the bat craft. Next, paste eyes and ears on the face of the bat.
- Use a red and black sharpie to draw the pupils of the bat. Make small circles with white pen to make the eyes stand out. Cut a small smile from pink craft paper and paste it below the eyes.
- Cut two small triangles from white paper to make bat’s fangs and glue them on the mouth. Paste the fangs on the mouth of the bottle cap bat.
- Take a rectangular section of black craft paper and fold it into half. Using a pencil, draw a bat wing as shown and cut it out.
- Paste the wings on the back of the bat’s body.
- Lastly, glue the paper bat on the bottle caps to complete your craft. Give it a minute or two to dry before you start playing with it.
