A perfect addition to Shark Awareness Day, this fun rocking shark craft for kindergarten will get your kids hands-on and make for a perfect ocean craft for kids.
Easy to make, this 3D Shark Paper craft uses plain old paper and common craft supplies. It is a perfect shark craft for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and older kids who like to make moving paper crafts.
Supplies for Rocking Shark Craft
- Blue construction paper
- White paint
- Cotton ball
- Googly eyes
- Black sharpie
- Craft glue
- Scissors
How to Make Rocking Shark Paper Craft for Kindergarten
Time needed: 15 minutes

Cut a circle from blue construction paper. We used a circle of 11cm in diameter.

Fold the circle in half to make the body of your shark craft.

Next, cut out the tail fin, pectoral and dorsal fin from blue craft paper.

Take a cotton ball, dip it into white acrylic paint, and dab it on the circular half of the semi-circle to make the belly of your paper shark. Let it dry.

Paste googly eyes and fins on the body of your paper shark.

To complete the rocking paper shark craft, make a mouth and eyelashes to add a cute touch to your shark craft.

Now that the shark paper craft is ready, place it on a flat surface and give it a gentle nudge to watch your rocking shark sway!
