Paper Bag Gnome Bunny Craft For Kids
Every child will love crafting this adorable Easter gnome bunny craft for kids – be it a preschoolers, kindergarteners or older kids. It comes with a free template that makes this craft easy-peasy for kids.
Supplies To Make Gnome Bunny:
· Construction paper – White, Red, Dark Green, Light Green, Pink, Skin
· Pattern craft paper
· Brown paper bag
· Pencil – to trace the template
· Glue
· Double sided foam tape
· Black sharpie or gel pen
· Brown felt-tip pen or gel pen
· Scissors
· Template (grab free template at the end of the page)
How To Make Paper Gnome Easter Bunny
Step 1: Print the template and cut out the patterns of the hat, hat-border, ear, nose, face, beard, moustache, eyes, and shoes. Cut the cloth pattern according to the size of the selected bag.
Step 2: Glue the pink inner ear cutouts on the outer brown ear cutouts. Similarly, paste the white moustache cutout near the top side of the beard cutout.
Paste a small piece of double sided foam tape on the backside of the nose cutout to give it a 3-D look.
Step 3: Attach the nose right above the moustache, on the beard.
Step 4: Prepare the green robe pattern according to the size of the brown paper bag and glue the red shoe cutouts on the bottom of the cloth cutout to complete body of the gnome.
Step 5: Paste the ear patterns on the hat base, keeping the bottom sides of the ears aligned with the bottom side of the hat.
Step 6: Cut the hat cutout on patterned craft paper. Glue the ears on the hat and then paste the light green hat border on the hat’s base as shown.
Step 7: Glue the beard pattern along the bottom side of the skin coloured face cutout.
Step 8: Next, paste the hat on the top side of the head.
Step 9: Use a black sharpie to make the eyeballs and paste them on the face.
Step 10: Glue the gnome’s body on the brown paper bag and finally paste the face on the flattened base of the paper bag to complete your gnome bunny puppet.
That’s all! Such a fun and easy craft to make. It is a truly versatile gnome craft that kids can make during holidays or just for fun!
