Fold the accordion folds at the center to make a fan shape.
-
Glue the inner sides of the fan shape to make a semi-circle.
-
Follow the above steps to make another accordion folds semi-circle. Glue both the semi-circles to make an accordion folds circle. The body of our bat craft is now ready.
-
Take a rectangular section of black construction paper and fold it into half. Using a pencil draw a wing shape and cut it out using scissors.
-
Similarly, draw the ear shape of black paper and cut them out. For the inner ear, cut a smaller section from pink craft paper. Cut out two small white circles & triangles for the eyes and fangs of the bat. For the mouth, cut out a smaller section from the section from light pink craft paper and tongue from pink craft paper.
-
Using black sharpie, draw the pupil of the bat and use a white pen to make a small circle in the pupil. Glue the eyes on the body of the bat, just above the center. Paste the ears above the eyes.
-
Paste the tongue cutout on the bottom of the mouth cutout. Next glue the fangs on the upper side of the mouth. Lastly, stick the mouth on the bat’s body to complete the paper bat craft for kindergarten and older kids.
