Easy Bat Puppet Craft For Kids

What could be more fun than making a paper bat puppet craft for kids that uses just craft paper! Perfect Halloween Bat Puppet Craft for Kindergarten and older kids, this one is delightfully spooky without being ghastly!

Supplies

Craft Paper
Glue
White pen

Instructions

Time needed: 20 minutes

Print the template
Print the template, trace the elements on black and purple craft paper and cut them out.
Make the body
Paste the circle cutout on the body cutout to make the body of puppet bat craft.
Make ears of the Bat craft
Glue the smaller inner ear cutouts on the outer ear cutouts. Glue the ears on the back of the circle.
Add eyes & facial features
Paste the black pupil circle & oval cutouts on the white circle cutouts to make the eyes & eyelashes of the bat. Next, using a white pen make small arc on black circles to add dimension to bat’s eyes. Paste them on the circle cutout. Next, paste the small oval nose cutout below the eyes & draw a cute smile using white pen. Glue the another set of oval cutouts at the body base to make bat puppet craft’s legs.
Make wings of the Bat puppet craft
Take the bat wing cutouts and fold them along the lines to give them shape. Next, using a hole punch make small circles from pulp craft paper and glue them on the wings.
Paste the Wings
Glue the wings of the bat craft on either side of the body.
Add skewer to the bat puppet craft
Lastly, glue a skewer on the back of the bat to complete your Halloween puppet craft.
