These fun games are perfect to keep kids happy, entertained and moving. After all, kids do need to burn that extra energy coming from Halloween candy!

Reinvent the classic sack race with the Halloween theme. Just a slight twist and you have one of the most fun outdoor halloween games for kids.

Instead of using the plain old sack as it is, decorate it as a ghost and let the fun begin. What a fun game to burn off all the extra energy from Halloween treats!

Scatter or hide the balloons in your backward and let the kids race to stomp the maximum pumpkins (orange balloons in this case!). Your kids will absolutely love this classic halloween party game!

3. Mummy Sack Race

Another Halloween inspired version of the classic game for kids, Mummy sack race uses toilet paper to mummify its players before they can race!

Well! Not literally but what you need to do is wrap up the player’s legs with toilet paper instead of using a sack!

The first one to the finish line without tearing the toilet paper apart or freeing their wrapped legs, wins the game!

4. Pumpkin Pong

Transform the classic party game of Ping Pong Toss into Pumpkin Pong with some easy tweaks.

Line up the candy buckets outdoors in a triangular shape. Add weight to the bucket to prevent them from falling by filling them one-third with water, sand or pebbles.

Players take turns tossing ping-pong eyeballs into the buckets from a set distance. This is a fun halloween party game that can be played with kids across all ages.

If playing with teens and adults, remove the buckets as the ping pong eyeballs land into them to make the game more challenging. For younger kids keep the shooting distance shorter.

5. Skelton Scavenger Hunt

Halloween Party games call for spooky scavenger hunts. And what could be spookier than finding skeleton bones in your own backyard?

This is such a simple outdoor Halloween game to set-up that will have your kids moving in all directions and be busy for a while.

Just hide ping pong eyeballs in your backyard and let the hunt begin! To make it more challenging, put a timer and see who finds the most number of eyeballs!

11. Candy Corn Relay

This is a wonderful team game to play that will have your kids cooperating with each other and being a team player.

Divide kids into two teams. Each team has to move candy corn from one bowl to another using a spoon. No hands allowed!

The first team to transfer all its candy corn wins the relay and of course gets to eat the candy first!

No kids’ party is complete without a Piñata! Let the kids have fun with bursting the pinata and collecting the treats. Everyone’s a winner in this game!

13. Halloween Ring Toss

Ring toss is a classic game that never fails to entertain and is a fun game for every age group. This Halloween, play a halloween version by tossing plastic rings over a witch’s hat.

The player who gets the most rings into the witch’s hat wins the game. For older kids, increase the distance from which they need to toss the rings!

14. Pumpkin Race

Another easy-peasy Halloween Party game that is always a hit with young children! The challenge is to reach the finish line while balancing a mini pumpkin on their heads.

This Halloween game is sure to get everyone competing for the candy jar. It is easy and simple to set up, making it a favourite with tired hosts.

Simply fill a glass jar with halloween candy and let the players guess the number of candy inside the jar! The player with the closest guess wins the game and the candy!

18. Halloween Guess Who

This is such a fun guessing game for kids that even grown-ups would want to join in. To play the game, think of halloween characters and write them down on individual pieces of paper.

Tape the character names on the back of the players, without them catching a look and let the players move around. Each one must then try to figure out their character by asking other players relevant questions.

19. Spider Web Walking

This halloween party game is a life saver when kids are struck indoors. Simply make a giant spider’s web on the floor using painter’s tape and challenge your kids to balance while walking on the spider’s web.

For older kids, ask them to hop on one leg! The first one to reach the finishing point wins the game.

20. Pumpkin Bowling

Transform paper cups and an ordinary tangerine into a fun game of Pumpkin Bowling. Use ordinary white paper cups and turn them into ghoulish bowling pins using a marker. Similarly, turn the tangerine into a cute pumpkin jack-o-lantern.
