Make a Scarecrow Handprint Craft
Time needed: 20 minutes
- Prepare the Template and Cutouts
Print the free template. Trace the templates and cut them out of craft paper of your choice.
- Assemble the body of the scarecrow
Paste the overall cutouts to the large handprint cutout to make the scarecrow’s body base.
- Make the hair of the Scarecrow craft
Take the smaller handprint cutouts and glue them together by slightly overlapping the thumbs to make the hair of the scarecrow.
- Make the Head and Hat for the Scarecrow
Glue the head cutout in the middle of the hair.
- Make the hat for scarecrow
Next, glue the band of the hat on the hat cutout. Paste the hat to the top of the scarecrow’s head.
- Decorate the outfit
Glue the small square (patch) cutout to the overall and hay cutout on the open ends of the overall’s leg parts.
- Assemble the scarecrow craft
Glue the head and hair section to the body base of the scarecrow. Finally, use a marker or pen to draw a cheerful scarecrow face and add buttons and pocket to scarecrow’s overalls.
